Huacaya Alpacas

Definitely a roan! Delilah has started to grow into her own! She is curious and while shy she seems sweet when handled. Her fleece characteristics need more time to develop but I can see crimp developing in her neck! She has good proportions and is correct in her frame and bite. We are planning to enter Delilah into the show circuit this fall and see how she does. She is a beautiful young female.

Alaula is a lovely new Cria from Ambrosia and Paxton. We purchased Ambrosia from Jodie at Peaceful Acres Alpacas and had her bred to Paxton's Magic, who has a number of AOA Fleece Awards. With Ambrosia being the Daughter of 18 X Champion Snowmass Kahuna Sunrise, and the Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass Quechua bloodlines from Paxton, we have high hopes for this little girl. Her name, Alaula (a-la-u'-la), n. is Hawaiian meaning: 1. A red streak of light, such as is seen after the setting and before the rising sun. This is in honor of her Grandfather, 18 x Champion Snowmass Kahuna Sunrise.

Noel is the first bred and born Alpaca from our farm. She is a Granddaughter to Snowmass Enlightenment, and has numerous other champions in her ancestry, like HHFF Jack's Ezekiel, Arosa Jack in Black, MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack, MFI Peruvian Jericho. She has turned 2 years old now, and we would be able to breed her with one of our Herd Sires as part of a sale.

Cowgirl is a beautiful multicolored Grey Daughter of Award Winning Sire Molten Steel. She is bred to KBA's Phantom the Son of Award Winning Snowmass Enlightenment for a summer Cria.

Silvana is an excellent dam. Consistently produces carbon copies of the beautiful Light Silver Grey. Ribbon winner, great mother and beautiful!

Very lovely young female with some great bloodlines. Her fiber is fine and very long with her Neversummer's US Steel and Aussie .38 Special ancestry. We have bred Applause with on our Snowmass Enlightenment Grandson Boomer to see if she will pass some very fine long Grey fiber also.

Starry Sky if a lovely True Black with White markings, and has very fine fiber for such a deep dark color. She is good in staple length also and her frame and conformation are good also. She has a number of 1st place ribbons from her show career before we purchased her last summer. She was bred to a young silver grey male before we purchased her, and we are excited to see what we receive for a Cria this summer.

A bright and soft handling fleece has been developing on this young female Kassiopeia. She has a sweet temperament as well! Eye catcher is a word you would use to describe Penelope out in the paddock. This girl has a solid frame, with a lovely head. Definitely true black at the skin. Those fleece characteristics are starting to come in after cria shearing in the summer and we shall continue to keep our eyes on her development! Velasco is a young black proven male that was part of our Alpaca Farm starting herd in the fall of 2021. We have too many males on our farm at this time, and need to move some of them. As one of the Proven Herd Sires we have, we hate to see him go, but we believe he would make a great addition to another herd, and with his Dam and Sister and Daughter here already, his breeding opportunities would be better elsewhere.

Shantana is a beautiful large framed Alpaca with very nice conformation. She is a True Black with a nice staple length. Her fiber is a little larger in diameter, but that is normally what I expect with a True Black. She is a very good mother and watches over her Cria well, and has plenty of milk for them to grow quickly. She has provided us a son, who has provided us with a daughter (granddaughter for Shantana), and a lovely daughter that we are planning to breed this summer.

Clover is a daughter of Snowmass Enlightenment who is a multi time Grey Color Champion. She is a great mother and provides plenty of milk and care for her offspring. Her fiber is very wonderful. Fine and Dense and a decent staple length. Her EPD's are in the 25% range. Ambrosia has the most beautiful medium brown fiber with a red hue and it is very fine for such a deep bright color. She is daughter of the Multi Champion Winner SNOWMASS KAHUNA SUNRISE. We had her bred with Paxton who has very fine white fiber and we are excited to see how his Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass Quecha bloodlines bring a higher quality to this cria.
